Declarations from the Battle Front: A Night of Poetic Protest

In honor of Poetry Month, we invite you to join us for a special evening of protest, poetry, and conversation centered on identity, decolonialism, liberation, and radical futures. The evening is inspired by the legacy of the cultural activists of Harlem’s Black Arts Movement; Amiri Baraka, Ntozake Shange, Sonia Sanchez, Mari Evans, and many more. The MC and co-curator of the evening is spoken word artist and change agent Latasha Diggs. The evening features a communal conversation and poetic performances from Rabih Ahmed, Latasha N. Nevada Diggs, Christina Olivares, and Fabian Villegas.
